For Arenas: Personally I'd recommend Hasbro's Xtreme Battle Set. Obviously it's not the best beystadium out there (that would be the Taraka-Tomy Extreme Stadium), but for your purposes it should be just fine. Also it comes with two beys with very solid parts. You were right about the Sneak Attack Stadium--that thing is hot trash. Avoid it at all costs. The Drop Attack Stadium is a bit more gimmicky and of lower quality than the Xtreme Battle Set, but comes with some very good beys. Might be worth a pickup if you have some extra budget lying around so you can have multiple arenas going at the same time. Personally I'd get two Xtreme Battle Sets and maybe a Drop Attack Stadium. That'll be roughly $130 right there, but you also get six beys out of it so I'd say it's still a pretty good deal for a party. For Launchers: There are three main varieties of Launchers in Beyblade X: the Proto Launcher, the Winder Launcher, and the String Launcher. The Proto Launcher is about as basic of a launcher as you can get. It's tiny, cheap, and has a lot less power than the other ones. It's also the default launcher that gets packaged with most Hasbro products. The Winder Launcher is actually the original default launcher in Japan; unfortunately, Hasbro cheaped out when they brought Beyblade X to America so you'll have to buy these separately if you don't get a Japanese Starter Set (which you probably don't want to because the product is otherwise the same and the import costs are generally not worth it). Winder Launchers have gears inside them with multiply the speed of the ripcord, which results in a heck lot more launching power compared to a Proto Launcher. They're also about three times larger than Proto Launchers, which make them a lot easier to hold. The String Launcher is basically the Winder Launcher with a built-in retractable ripcord. Honestly in my opinion it's not really feasible to give everyone a high-quality launcher. So I'd just give most of the guests a Proto and save the Strings and Winders for the special guests...unless you're only gonna buy a couple of Launchers. Just keep in mind that Winder Launchers are roughly $13, which is basically the same price as a whole Bey. Here's a couple good beys to try building for the groom or whoever you want to destroy the competition: The best beys in the game are obviously WizardRod 1-60H and SharkScale 1-70LR. Unfortunately, SharkScale has been scalped to hell and back so it's almost impossible to buy it now, but WizardRod is still pretty easy to come by so it's your best option here. The best way to build WizardRod 1-60H is with the following purchases: Wand Wizard 1-60R (aka WizardRod 1-60 Rush; "the green one"), and Hammer Incendio 4-70H (aka HellsHammer 4-70 Hexa). Both are available for $5 apiece at Five Below if you're lucky. Heck, I'd heavily recommend just pulling up to Five Below and just buying one of every bey they have in stock (except for this one; the Bit will ruin your stadium and that's not fun). Replacing the Rush Bit on WizardRod with HellsHammer's Hexa results in a bey with unholy stamina and defense that counters like a truck and simply refuses to go down. There's also PhoenixWing 9-60R, an attack type bey that has stubbornly refused to leave the top ten list of beys since its release over three years ago. You can build it with: The aforementioned Wand Wizard 1-60R or the Xtreme Battle Set, and The Soar Phoenix 9-60GF String Launcher Set (which is currently unavailable on Amazon but you can get it from other places anyway). Replace the Bit on Phoenix Wing with the Rush Bit; this will increase control, stamina, and stability. The String Launcher will put the groom at an advantage compared to what I assume will be his peasant, Proto-Launcher-using competition, not to mention that Phoenix Wing itself looks cool as fuck (it's one of the only beys with an extra paintjob--in this case, metallic red).

Extras and links: I mentioned the Hasbro launchers earlier. I'll talk about them now: Taraka-Tomy's standard Beyblade X launcher is called the Winder Launcher. They have gears inside them that multiply your ripcord's power to make the beys spin faster. Hasbro has replaced every pack-in Winder Launcher with their cheaper, vastly inferior launcher called the Proto Launcher, which is tiny, has no gear multiplication to speak of, and (while technically usable) is just plain crap. For this reason, I'd recommend getting a Winder Launcher separately, importing a Taraka-Tomy Starter Set that includes a Winder Launcher, or getting a String Launcher instead from this Bite Croc set or this Soar Phoenix set. Definitely invest in a better launcher; it's totally worth it. (I'm partial to the Soar Phoenix set because the bey that comes with it is positively beautiful...not to mention an extremely good bey!) If you're interested in actually playing with your beys, then a proper Beyblade X stadium is a must. (No negotiations.) The best one is the overpriced Taraka-Tomy Extreme Stadium, but if that's too expensive then the (admittedly inferior) Hasbro version will be the best alternative you can get. Here's what Blast Pegasus, Meteoroid Dragoon, Storm Pegasus, Lightning L-Drago, and Rock Leone look like. As I mentioned earlier, the last three are X-Over Project beys, meaning that they are direct remakes of older beys redesigned to fit the current generation, but are also nerfed so that they don't perform quite as well as the standard X beys. Unfortunately, Storm Pegasus is exclusive to a super-pricey Anniversary set, but the others are more or less standalone products that you can definitely get for a more reasonable price. ...there's also Aero Pegasus, which is a bey designed to be the spiritual successor to Storm Pegasus, just like how Blast Pegasus is the spiritual successor to Cosmic Pegasus. But I haven't mentioned this one 'till now because it's only available as part of a lottery exclusive to Asia, which means that it has a $250 USD price tag. So yeah. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Disclaimer: I don't endorse any of these links. I'm only putting them here because I figured it would make tracking stuff down easier for you if you knew what they all looked like. You can probably find better prices elsewhere.
