Okay, when is it, how many people are there, and are you doing this cause the groom is specifically into Beyblade or just for shits and gigs. The two most fun stadiums are the BX-10 TT xtreme stadium and the BX-46 infinity stadium. You’ll be very hard pressed to find one for less than $100 so I’d suggest either finding a fake one on aliexpress, Temu etc. At the end of the deal the real ones are pretty cheap plastic, it’s the design itself that makes it fun so I’d imagine a fake shouldn’t be too much worse. If you can’t find one or you’d rather get an official product, my recommendation would be the Hasbro Xtreme stadium. This is the Amazon link: https://a.co/d/059dLbRJ you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, I don’t know how pressed you are for time. Since most people won’t understand Beyblade, to keep from confusion I’d just stay away from buying cobalt and meteor dragoon because they’re left spin and it’d be annoying explaining the fact that they need a separate launcher to everyone there. If no one is really into Beyblade like that, I’d recommend just hitting as many 5 belows and Ross as you can to get as many beys for as cheap as possible. They’re generally much cheaper everywhere else, Ross does $3 for a single booster, $5 for a double booster, and 5 below is $5 on everything. Once you’ve exhausted that, hit as many targets and Walmarts as you can. Once you’ve exhausted that, just buy whatever Beyblade x Hasbro products you can find on Amazon to fill out the rest of the budget. Instead of giving everyone their own launcher, buy soar phoenix and Bite Croc to get two string launchers and just let whatever two people are playing use those two. The bite croc seems to be sold out on Amazon so here is a Walmart link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/17550108313?sid=F192041E-B306-484A-8D54-DDCC4D5C77BA And here is soar phoenix: https://www.walmart.com/ip/5459864150?sid=CD55C4F2-1A3D-4FA7-BC37-4CA0CB4951A9 The reason I say to get these is because they generate more torque and will be more fun to use. The format you want to run with depends on how many beys you get your hands on, how many people are going to be involved and how long you want it to be. People in general use challonge.com for their tournaments. I’d recommend checking out the website and trying to figure out how to set up a tournament once you’ve decided on a format. What we usually do is a two stage tournament where opponents go head to head with 3 beys. The first stage is a Swiss style, if you don’t know what that is just google it. We do winner is the first to score 5 points. Then for the playoffs is the top 8 seeded players, single elimination, first to 7 points. If you want to shorten it or make sure everyone has enough beys, you can let them break themselves up into teams of 3 however you decide where each person would get only 1 bey. These two videos will explain how the formats work better than I can in one message. You don’t have to watch the whole thing, he explains it pretty much in the beginning of each video. You can continue to watching if you’re curious on how it plays out. https://youtu.be/fOlCUC9gnCM?is=XpD_63n52Y2r2FPo https://youtu.be/R_NOPp4zxXU?is=vA8YIcWNRZVrKWSW I generally avoid recommending ai as much as possible but chat GPT is a useful tool when trying to figure out exactly how you want to format a tournament to fit your needs. Lastly, I don’t think the combos themselves will matter a whole lot. I’m guessing most of the people who are competing won’t care about meta or whatever, if it’s just for shits and gigs just keep all of the beys in their stock combos. If anything, just nudge the groom to use golem rock and its stock combo (golem rock 1-60 UN). If you want to go thru the trouble of splitting everything into the best combo, you can go to beyrank.app and search the names of the blades themselves but this will be a headache and probably kill the balance of the tournament. Another way to go about it is to break apart all the blades ratchets and bits and separate them then let everyone draft each part to make their own combos.

Extras and links: I mentioned the Hasbro launchers earlier. I'll talk about them now: Taraka-Tomy's standard Beyblade X launcher is called the Winder Launcher. They have gears inside them that multiply your ripcord's power to make the beys spin faster. Hasbro has replaced every pack-in Winder Launcher with their cheaper, vastly inferior launcher called the Proto Launcher, which is tiny, has no gear multiplication to speak of, and (while technically usable) is just plain crap. For this reason, I'd recommend getting a Winder Launcher separately, importing a Taraka-Tomy Starter Set that includes a Winder Launcher, or getting a String Launcher instead from this Bite Croc set or this Soar Phoenix set. Definitely invest in a better launcher; it's totally worth it. (I'm partial to the Soar Phoenix set because the bey that comes with it is positively beautiful...not to mention an extremely good bey!) If you're interested in actually playing with your beys, then a proper Beyblade X stadium is a must. (No negotiations.) The best one is the overpriced Taraka-Tomy Extreme Stadium, but if that's too expensive then the (admittedly inferior) Hasbro version will be the best alternative you can get. Here's what Blast Pegasus, Meteoroid Dragoon, Storm Pegasus, Lightning L-Drago, and Rock Leone look like. As I mentioned earlier, the last three are X-Over Project beys, meaning that they are direct remakes of older beys redesigned to fit the current generation, but are also nerfed so that they don't perform quite as well as the standard X beys. Unfortunately, Storm Pegasus is exclusive to a super-pricey Anniversary set, but the others are more or less standalone products that you can definitely get for a more reasonable price. ...there's also Aero Pegasus, which is a bey designed to be the spiritual successor to Storm Pegasus, just like how Blast Pegasus is the spiritual successor to Cosmic Pegasus. But I haven't mentioned this one 'till now because it's only available as part of a lottery exclusive to Asia, which means that it has a $250 USD price tag. So yeah. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Disclaimer: I don't endorse any of these links. I'm only putting them here because I figured it would make tracking stuff down easier for you if you knew what they all looked like. You can probably find better prices elsewhere.
