Extras and links: I mentioned the Hasbro launchers earlier. I'll talk about them now: Taraka-Tomy's standard Beyblade X launcher is called the Winder Launcher. They have gears inside them that multiply your ripcord's power to make the beys spin faster. Hasbro has replaced every pack-in Winder Launcher with their cheaper, vastly inferior launcher called the Proto Launcher, which is tiny, has no gear multiplication to speak of, and (while technically usable) is just plain crap. For this reason, I'd recommend getting a Winder Launcher separately, importing a Taraka-Tomy Starter Set that includes a Winder Launcher, or getting a String Launcher instead from this Bite Croc set or this Soar Phoenix set. Definitely invest in a better launcher; it's totally worth it. (I'm partial to the Soar Phoenix set because the bey that comes with it is positively beautiful...not to mention an extremely good bey!) If you're interested in actually playing with your beys, then a proper Beyblade X stadium is a must. (No negotiations.) The best one is the overpriced Taraka-Tomy Extreme Stadium, but if that's too expensive then the (admittedly inferior) Hasbro version will be the best alternative you can get. Here's what Blast Pegasus, Meteoroid Dragoon, Storm Pegasus, Lightning L-Drago, and Rock Leone look like. As I mentioned earlier, the last three are X-Over Project beys, meaning that they are direct remakes of older beys redesigned to fit the current generation, but are also nerfed so that they don't perform quite as well as the standard X beys. Unfortunately, Storm Pegasus is exclusive to a super-pricey Anniversary set, but the others are more or less standalone products that you can definitely get for a more reasonable price. ...there's also Aero Pegasus, which is a bey designed to be the spiritual successor to Storm Pegasus, just like how Blast Pegasus is the spiritual successor to Cosmic Pegasus. But I haven't mentioned this one 'till now because it's only available as part of a lottery exclusive to Asia, which means that it has a $250 USD price tag. So yeah. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Disclaimer: I don't endorse any of these links. I'm only putting them here because I figured it would make tracking stuff down easier for you if you knew what they all looked like. You can probably find better prices elsewhere.
