I'm doing the same thing, and the only way I stay sane is to think about it as a year-long project. I definitely agree with the suggestion to fully complete one section first. That way, you can figure out a repeatable process for stripping, sanding, staining, and finishing. It sounds like the Cobra is working well for you, but you might also try Smart Strip. You paint it on like Citristrip and cover it with plastic, but it works WAY better and faster than Citristrip. Is it a bit messy? Yes, but if you're just going section by section, it's not bad. I'm slowly refinishing all the baseboards, stairs, built-ins, and window trim in my 1932 house. I'm stripping stain and shellac, so different than paint, but here are some tools and other things that work for me. Chemical peelers- I've tried a bunch, but what works best for me is Citrustrip. I brush it on, cover it with cellophane overnight, and then start scraping Scrapers- Bahco Ergo Carbide Blade Scraper w/ 2-1/2" blade.
