Yes!! Get some 5% lidocaine on Amazon along with a skincare spatula and some Tegaderm. Apply a thick smear of the lidocaine and cover it with the Tegaderm about an hour before your injections. Then 15 minutes before you injections, ice the same area. When you are ready to inject, wipe off the lidocaine and clean the area well with a alcohol wipe before injecting. Works like a charm every time.

So what I’ve been doing is starting to apply cream 3.5 hours before my session with two different creams. Lido cream for an hour, then the other one with Emu oil for a hour, then I mix both together kinda thick for the last hour 1/2 and remove it when I get to the clinic. I have plastic wrap on my arm over the cream to make sure it doesn’t wipe off or anything which might be kinda hard to do on your face. The cream really helps. I have a super dark black ink tribal that was done twice so it’s super saturated in my skin. It’s excruciatingly painful. My other arm with green ink, hurts 1/10 as much as my black ink arm. I don’t have to use the cream on the green ink if I don’t want to but I do. Emu Oil https://a.co/d/0iaApKiO Numb 2.0 https://a.co/d/0e107pjs

I know the feeling! I have been putting off my next appointment (9th or 10th???) for a year (abdomen ☠️) In the beginning, I used cheap bottles of lidocaine and it barely helped. I switched to this kind... Ebanel 5% 2 hours before appointment... Apply thick layer of cream and put plastic wrap over for an hour. Peel back plastic and add another layer of cream, re-cover and use an ice pack (wrapped in cloth/towel) for an hour. Wipe off at appointment. Grin and bear it. New ice pack for at least another hour. I also take ibuprofen for swelling.
