WOLED uses a stack of white-emitting OLED layers with color filters to produce red, green, and blue subpixels, which can limit brightness and color purity due to light absorption. However, WOLED has the advantage of being more mature, cost-effective, and widely used in larger displays like OLED TVs. QD-OLED emits blue OLED light and converts it into red and green using quantum dots, resulting in higher brightness, better color accuracy, and improved efficiency.
