I left the one shoulder fastened since that arm was good. It took a while to snap it into place but I got better with practice. I did this by myself. An alternative is to get one with velcro instead of snaps, that might be easier.

I just bought a few of these shirts - they have snaps. I haven't had my surgery yet but I think I must have first seen the link from one of the threads on this sub. I bought one & then realized it made more sense to buy them a little big so after buying the first one, I bought three more in a size bigger than my usual size.
