The Edifier QR65 were not well received. See this thread, for example. I have no personal experience with those speakers, but tend to agree with u/washoutr6 's comment from the linked thread: 2.75" drivers tells you everything you need to know. Sound waves are big, you are not going to get big sound out of small speakers. The fashion is small so companies are hyping all these small products, but this is physics, you need bigger drivers. What's your budget looking like? You could go with a budget amp that has a USB input (such as the AIYIMA A80 for $172 during Prime Day) combined with a set of passive bookshelf speakers, for example. Or buy a DAC that has a USB input, like this SMSL SU-1 for $73 on amazon, then you could buy whatever amp (maybe this Fosi Audio ZA3 for $120 on Prime Day) and set of passive bookshelf speakers. For "cheaper" bookshelf speakers, I've heard good things about the Polk X15 ($159) and Polk X20 ($179).
