$1200 is a bit of no man's land. You can find 5060 laptops for the price, but the price/perf very often doesn't make a whole lot of sense against something like this. https://www.walmart.com/ip/MSI-Vector-16-HX-AI-16-Gaming-Laptop-Intel-Core-Ultra-7-255HX-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-5070-TI-12-GB-1TB-SSD-Windows-11-Pro-Vector-16-HX-AI-A2XWHG-285US/16506964863 Or you have to drop much lower to a 5050 laptop, and save some on the cost. TBH it still has most of the capabilities of a 5060, but it's also not as much of an upgrade, as a 5070ti. https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-TUF-Gaming-Laptop-165Hz/dp/B0FFDDFW47 (It was $839...) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1954944-REG/lenovo_83jh008qus_17_3_loq_laptop_i5_13450hx.html Edit: https://www.notebookcheck.net/GeForce-RTX-5070-Ti-Laptop-vs-GeForce-RTX-5050-Laptop-vs-GeForce-GTX-1660-Ti-Mobile_12926_12923_9641.247598.0.html I'd use the top TGP Timespy graphics scores as a quick and dirty comparison between these options. Should give you a rough idea about their relative performance.

A desktop yould obviously be better for a lot of reasons but if you really insist on a laptop ill give you my recommendation https://a.co/d/0eJQrwYF This will do everything you want it to do but don't expect to do much more than Minecraft and casual games. This is not a modern AAA gaming machine, thays not what the rtx5050 was designed for.
