Thanks for the reply, thats good to know. How do you think it compares to this PC I see sent around often: Walmart ABS Flux II Aqua Gaming PC I know the Flux one has more RAM, and its almost the same price. I googled some benchmarks comparing the two and it seems like the Skytech components might come out a bit better? Kinda a noob, not sure.
Facebok Marketplace has better options for pc's at that price. But if you really want new, then these are the only ones i'd consider If you live near Microcenter: https://www.microcenter.com/product/699677/powerspec-g528-gaming-pc If not https://www.newegg.com/stormcraft-gaming-desktop-pc-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-intel-core-i5-14400f-16gb-ddr4-1tb-ssd-viper/p/N82E16883420051 https://www.newegg.com/stormcraft-sirius-gaming-desktop-pc-geforce-rtx-5060-intel-core-i5-14400f-16gb-ddr4-1tb-ssd-si1440fbb-560n2/p/N82E16883420040 https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1600&from=/search
Buy this. As is it is fine, but given you have some more budget, I would sell off the ARC A750 on eBay for $150, then pick up a used RTX 3080 or something drastically more powerful with the difference. You can get a decent 1080p/1440p gaming PC with 32GB DDR5 for around $1000 once you do that. The CPU is same as i5-13400, it'll handle a decently high end GPU.
There's also this one lol https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427 I doubt he'll put either of these up on the site though
https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427 It's a one-off find as most ddr5 pcs cost at least $950 This one is on lga 1700, so the best upgrade you could make is to an i5 14600k or i7 14700k. (14900k is overkill) However, there are leaks that Intel is working on another Raptor Lake refresh coming maybe next year, so that'd bring some new upgrade options too. It also comes with 32gb ddr5. Since you're only paying $800, and since the ram alone would normally cost $400, you're basically committing highway robbery.Since you already have the ram, an upgrade to am5 / nova lake would be way cheaper than when you're upgrading from a ddr4 system. The A750 isn't great, but it's on par with an rtx 3060 so it isn't bad either. On top of that, this one doesn't use proprietary parts. You don't have to switch the psu when upgrading, and you can sell the motherboard to someone once you're done using it, since it's just a standard motherboard. You got ripped off at that repair shop, the components they installed cost $350 at most, and it would have taken about 2 hours of labor.
Don’t buy PCs from Amazon. They’re typically bad deals. I have a PS5 Pro. I also have a PC with a 9800X3D and a 5070. Both serve their own purpose, but to say that "you don't need to spend thousands of dollars for a pc to play games when the ps5 pro can do it all" is true, but a little misleading, as you also don't need to spend almost a grand on a PS5 Pro to play games in 60 FPS when you can get a PC for around the same price or even cheaper that does the same thing.. Even with the current ram and storage options, you can still get prebuilt PC for around $1,000 USD that will outperform the Pro while giving you everything else that comes with owning a PC.ie: https://www.newegg.com/stormcraft-gaming-desktop-pc-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-intel-core-i5-14400f-16gb-ddr4-1tb-ssd-viper/p/N82E16883420051?Item=N82E16883420051 If you're willing to spend another few hundred bucks, which, if you're already gonna pay $900 for a new PS5 Pro, just save up another $500 and grab something like this $1400 USD PC from Microcenter: https://www.microcenter.com/product/706648/powerspec-g532-gaming-pc Don't have a Microcenter nearby? Just grab this $1350 USD PC and throw Windows Install Media on a USB drive and you're good to go: https://costplusgaming.com/products/m1-amd-ryzen-5-8400f-amd-rx-9070xt-16gb-gddr6-deal-drop Still not convinced? Here's a cheaper PC ($799 USD) available from Walmart (and Newegg) that has 32GB DDR5 Ram, setting you up for the future already. The GPU isn't as good as the PS5 Pro GPU (it's equivalent to the PS5) by the numbers, but it's $100 cheaper and gets you into the PC ecosystem: https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1103
The closest thing is this prebuilt. Unfortunately with individual part prices and requirements of all new, that's not happening with DIY. Just the CPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, and video card is already over budget. Need another at least $120 for case, power supply. Preferably a better CPU cooler. Pink cases and white theme cost much more. Ok I just wanted to be sure. You have a large budget if it's $700-1800, but I'm assuming you means $7-800. If you are only recording and streaming, especially multiple streams with OBS, this ABS system would be a good bet, though you will need a separate capture card into which you plug your switch. That PC has a decent enough motherboard that supports ReBAR so you shouldn't have issues with it. The ABS build would allow you to output 3-4 simultaneous streams. You can build your own as well, but you'll be going a few hundred over that prebuilt and will have a ryzen 5500. If you want to game as well the pre-built will do better than a DIY with a Ryzen 5500. You could look into getting an older Optiplex MT and putting in a GTX 1650, I don't know how much you want to hunt for used parts.
Just going to leave this here:https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1103&from=/search
Sorry but this would probably have been way better for the price:https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427 a '12 core processor' could be anything, but at that price, you can be sure that it's pretty old. 64 gb ram sounds great, but it's most likely ddr3.These listings intentionally leave out a big chunk of the specifications, to trick people in to buying a bad pc. That's why you can't find any info on it. You're most likely looking at a device which isn't even officially supported by Windows 11 (although it can run it fine) with a motherboard that offers no upgrade path for the cpu at all.
$500-$800 is you need to wait for a sale or live near a micro center https://www.microcenter.com/product/705867/powerspec-g530-gaming-pc $800 rx7600 https://www.newegg.com/stormcraft-sirius-gaming-desktop-pc-intel-arc-b580-intel-core-i5-14400f-16gb-ddr4-1tb-nvme-ssd-si1440fbb-b57n1/p/N82E16883420042 b570 $850 https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427 $800 a750

$799 - 32GB DDR5 6000, Core5 120, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, ARC A750 8GB GDDR6 The ARC A750 isn't amazing but it can run most games. If you absolutely hate everything about it, you can just swap to any other video card you want like RX 6700XT, 4060Ti, 5060, etc. I have bought this system and did just that, ripped out A750 and put in RTX 5060. But I think the included A750 can handle Cyberpunk and most games at medium graphics just fine. The raw performance is just below RTX 3060 level.
This will easily run elden ring at 1080p 60fps: https://www.walmart.com/ip/ABS-Flux-II-Aqua-Gaming-PC-Windows-11-Intel-Core-5-120-Intel-Arc-A750-32GB-DDR5-1TB-ABSWMT120A750/18093910427
You won't get new retail RAM cheap. You have to either work to find deals, or buy prebuilt.
If it doesn't work you can return it. But you need to be able to test it, if you don't and wait past return period then you get no warranty. Items that are "eBay Refurbished" certified get 1 year warranty. edit: You get 1 year warranty from eBay when you buy from that seller. They have hundreds of memory kits for sale. Most seem like new pulls from computers. I know they definitely are and which exact PC they pulled this Patriot Memory kit from.

Dammit. This one. https://www.walmart.com/ip/18093910427?sid=73EDFBC7-0D26-43C5-88BF-77FE5D04D6E5
At a quick search - Rx7600 pc, but has ddr4 memory 800$ RTX 5060 Gaming Pc 900$ Arc A580 pc, 32gb ddR4 (was 650$ a week ago on sale) RTX 4060 laptop 750$ I’m worried that pricing a system using what is equivalent to a rx7600 mobile GPU , at 1000$ with only 512gb, does not make it a competitive option to other market options like valve said it was going to be. And there have been better deals (for this market) too if you keep an eye out, this was just a quick google search, realistically the steam machine at 900$ is already pushing it. 800$ for its components is where you could argue it’s competitive given its other features. I just want the steam machine to do well so that steamOS does well, which means better Linux gaming and more manufacturers (like Lenovo did with legion go S) opening up to providing native steamOS options for their devices Fingers crossed!
