So this $70: https://a.co/d/059N5SXK Plus this $25: https://a.co/d/07L73hlo With this $10: https://a.co/d/03rHxRrD Gets you a 4" square touch screen with a Raspberry Pi Zero2w (with headers), and a 3 port USB hub with Ethernet. Print or assemble a case and you're golden.

Also, it’s probably worth it to bite the bullet and get Klipper going now rather than screwing around with Marlin. Any old machine you can install Linux on will do, but if you’re on a budget, I’d get one of these: https://a.co/d/0aIEtfYb and one of these: https://a.co/d/08qonhOl and one of these: https://a.co/d/0dV2KDQ6 So to get running pretty reliably, you’re out 35$ for a direct drive hot end, and 50$ for a full Pi/Klipper setup. These purchases will save probably 20-40 hours of troubleshooting. Your call if it’s worth it or not for this machine. I’d do it, and have done it, but making printers work is part of the fun for me. If it isn’t for you, just save the money and buy a new machine.
