I run 2 x Pi Zero Ws .. they both run Pi-Hole + Unbound. I have ethernet "hat" kits w/cases for both ($20 US on Amazon) but you can run them off of WiFi too .. you might run into unstable connectivity though. I didn't when I first set them up, but I got the ethernet port add-ons for them anyways https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PZXZS2R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 They run as my primary and secondary DNS servers on my network

Also, it’s probably worth it to bite the bullet and get Klipper going now rather than screwing around with Marlin. Any old machine you can install Linux on will do, but if you’re on a budget, I’d get one of these: https://a.co/d/0aIEtfYb and one of these: https://a.co/d/08qonhOl and one of these: https://a.co/d/0dV2KDQ6 So to get running pretty reliably, you’re out 35$ for a direct drive hot end, and 50$ for a full Pi/Klipper setup. These purchases will save probably 20-40 hours of troubleshooting. Your call if it’s worth it or not for this machine. I’d do it, and have done it, but making printers work is part of the fun for me. If it isn’t for you, just save the money and buy a new machine.

log2ram is what I use on my 2 Pi Zero Ws running gui-less Pi-OS and Pi-Hole & Unbound for my primary and secondary DNS They both have Ethernet "hats" and have their wireless and Bluetooth disabled https://a.co/d/07vBx7mD

I use the Pi Zero W with an ethenet "hat" kit pihole + unbound https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PZXZS2R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Disabled the WiFi and Bluetooth and run "headless" .. I run 2 setups for some redundancy in case one stops working for whatever reason But your setup is way cleaner looking then my mess of wires, lol
