I’m gluten free, and the gf matzo crackers are very close to saltines and good to have on hand post surgery. Ninja Creami - I recommend one of these to everyone. You can make delicious high protein, healthy ice cream. This is mostly what I ate the first two days after surgery. I use the collagen, whey isolate and oat fiber noted above + coconut milk, cauliflower rice, frozen fruit and some monk fruit. I didn’t sleep in it and really getting up and down wasn’t my biggest struggle…I could have gone with out but some people swear by having one. Toilet seat raiser - I got one but never opened it Walker - I didn’t get one, never felt like I needed it Seat Cushion - https://a.co/d/eVtT7gC I added this to my office chair pre-surgery but this was nice to have for all the sitting you do during recovery. Sleep Again Pillows - I got the pillow system but it didn’t end up working for me. I get nerve pain and tingling with bolsters, and the leg elevation in the pillows was furthering that. I tried the setup without the lower wedge but it just didn’t feel right. Ultimately just slept in my bed with a wedge behind my pillow for a night or two, then that was super uncomfortable so switched back to my regular pillow with my husband laying me down and lifting me up. I’m one week out and still unable to lay down/get myself up because I can’t really use my arms/pecs either. Lymphatic Drainage - I had a massage 2 days before surgery and have been doing 2x a week after. This is definitely contributing to my recovery in a really positive way, it helps so much with swelling. Hyperbaric oxygen treatment - I did this 2x in week one, I do think it helped with bruising and overall recovery.
