For the Dreamcast, get the SCART cable that uses the VGA signal, which is the last one in the pictures. I have the same consoles as you, and all of them are connected via RGB SCART, except the PS2, which uses component cables because they are superior. I also use a SCART switch so I can connect all the consoles without having to plug and unplug cables.

Update for those looking at this post in the future: As per a lot of people’s recommendations, I looked into buying a GBS-C upscaler. It’s about 80ish bucks where I live so I wanted to look into other options first before caving in. I went home back home during the weekend to visit my parents for Father’s Day. Fortunately for me, my parents had an older early 2010’s plasma Tv just laying around that originally belonged to my late Grandfather. The Tv has both Composite/Component and HDMI inputs. I bought this LevelHike PS2 -> HDMI adapter just before going home and tested it on my Grandfather’s tv, and oh man was it a night and day difference. It’s not perfect, but it’s probably a 1000 times better than the picture I have posted here. I’m now looking into potentially buying a set of component cables. According to Reddit, Retrovision is the best in the market. I’ll update y’all shortly. TLDR: If you want good quality on newer TV models, an upscaler is the way to go. PS2 to HDMI adapters don’t upscale video quality but are still 10 times better than the regular crappy AV to HDMI converters that most retro game stores sell alongside the PS2. Going to test component cables shortly and will update y’all.

For the retrolink the best cable you can get are the retrovisions but any 5 plug ps2 cable should work (three for video and two for audio) I’m not an expert on the ins and outs on how the retrovisions work but I know it has something to do with original and other 3rd party cables having a lot of bleed through between the cables. It cause the colors to look tinted so whites will look more gray and blended compared to retrovision that blocks a majority of the bleeding I’ve also got the 3 plug rgbs to work but it’s not as good. As for your converter I don’t know if you can reuse any of it. Retrolink is designed for the original cable so they can take that input directly from most retro console and upscale them. The retrolink only needs 3 cables to function •The power cable which is included •The input (component cable from console) •And the output (any standard hdmi cable) Most of the converter just convert it directly to hdmi doing away with the regular plugs entirely so I’d be shocked if your converter used original cables. So for a full retrolink setup it’ll be around 85-100 bucks depending on which 5 plug cable you get
