I’m sorry to hear this happened to you. I’m glad y’all are getting back on your feet. The big name companies aren’t producing at the same quality per dollar as some of the newer companies. Tents from OneTigris, Naturehike, MC Tomount, Teton Outdoors, etc are producing quality gear with excellent HH ratings for the same price as a large Ozark Trail tent. (Nothing wrong with Ozark Trail in some good weather camping.) Not for frontcountry camping IMHO. ——— Sleeping bags are very personal to the sleeper so it’s hard to recommend something without knowing how you toss and turn and hot or cold sleeper, etc. Quilts are popular these days but seeing as I think you’re not backpacking, I’d rather have material on my back than directly on the pad or hammock if I had the choice.
