Use this for ur for ur Mboard, SSD, & PSU. Total should be $280. Grab an Aliexpress i5 12600kf for $130. Grab a dual fan CPU cooler $30 or less on Amazon. The FROZN A620 PRO SE, NX600 & Iron Wind 120ARGB are my favorite options. DO NOT BUY NEW DDR4 RAM. Prices just aren’t worth it. U can EASILY find many 32GB CL16/18 3000-3200MHZ DDR4 kits on eBay/FB Marketplace for $150 or less. If u “must” buy new, there is a white 32GB kit from Kingbank that’s $190. Any mATX case that’s $60 or less will do just fine. Okinos, a brand on Amazon, has a great variety. Alternatively, for an extra $5 u can get the Lian Li V100 Mini. Make sure whatever case u get has a front Type C port. Also, don’t forget to ensure ur PC case will fit ur GPU (graphics card). For the GPU, I highly recommend grabbing a used RTX 3080 on eBay/FB Marketplace for $350 or less. U might be able to snag the 12GB model but ur mostly gonna find the 10GB version. Yes, it’s a 2 generation old card, and yes it has less VRAM than the 16GB version of the 5060ti/9060XT. Despite this it’s faster than both those newer cards in all resolutions. Check YouTube comparison benchmarks videos. You also still get access to DLSS 4.5, Nvidia’s latest upscaler, though sticking to DLSS 4.0 is recommended since it’s less intensive. Total: $280 (Newegg parts) + $130 (AliExpress i5) + $30 (Dual fan CPU cooler) + $150 (Used 32GB RAM kit) + $60 (mATX case) + $350 (Used RTX 3080) = $1000 Alternative GPU pick: If u “must” have new GPU, the 8GB version of the 5060 ti is an acceptable alternative. There’s a $320 Zotac model on Newegg if u use the email discount.

Use these parts. People sleep on the Newegg PC Builder combos. U may have to update the Mboard’s BIOS so it can support the 14600kf since it’s a newer chip. It’s like a 5 minute process and there’s 100s of YouTube videos on how to do it. Towards the end of this comment I’ll leave an alternative CPU choice that’ll save u some cash and/or the hassle of updating ur BIOS. Anyway, U still need a GPU, ram kit, a PC case, and a CPU cooler. For the GPU, grab this $580 9070 Reaper. I recommend buying a used 32GB CL16/18 3000-3600MHZ ram kit for $150 or less on eBay/FB Marketplace. But if u only want new, then for about $40 more, grab this $190 KingBank 32GB CL16 kit. For the PC case, I’d grab virtually any Okinos mATX case. They’re all about $60 or less. Read my comment here for CPU cooler recommendations. The 14600kf is power hungry so ur gonna need at least a dual fan cooler. Feel free to upgrade to a 240+ mm AIO if you wish. Just make sure u grab a case that supports AIOs if u do. The Okinos Mirage 4 does, for example. Here’s the white version. $544 (Newegg parts) + $580 (9070 Reaper) $190 (32GB kit) + $60 (mATX PC case) + $30 (max CPU cooler price) = $1404 Alternatively, u can swap the 14600kf down to a 12600k in the Newegg PC Builder for $170, saving u about $80. The 12600k grants about 85% of the performance of a 14600kf. And since ur prioritizing 1440p the performance gap will be less present since CPU performance discrepancies are most prominent in 1080p. TIP: For a sub $1400 2TB build use the 12600k. Replace the previous SSD, PSU, & CPU cooler part picks with this $300 MSI Bundle that has features a 2TB SSD, a modular 750W PSU, as well as a 240mm AIO. All other parts ought to remain the same. Though because the MSI Bundle features an AIO, an AIO supported mATX case like the aforementioned Mirage 4 is necessary. Ironically enough this 2TB build totals to $1385 (with the black Mirage 4) which is even cheaper than my first recommended build.

Get these three parts from Newegg. The 14600kf is way faster than the 5500x3d. The B760M motherboard I’ve included has a front Type C port and the Kingspec SSD has high Read/Write speeds. U can find used 32gb 3200 ram kits for sub $150. If u do go new, this KingSpec kit is only $190. Since the B760m is a mATX motherboard get a mATX PC case. Okinos has a bunch of great ones under $60 on Amazon. For the GPU grab a 9070 or 9070XT. Personally I think the 9070 is the sweet spot in terms of value at $580. TIP: U’ll need to update ur motherboard’s BIOS so the 14600kf runs stable. It’s a 10 minute process & theres 100s of YouTube videos how to do it. If ur not comfortable doing it just downgrade ur CPU to a $170 12600k in the Newegg PC Builder. It’ll still be faster than the 5500x3d.

I’d sell ur Ram for $50 on eBay/FB marketplace and just get a new 32 kit for $190 or buy a used one for $150. I’m using Newegg PC Builder combos to make the build base for ur $1200 build. At $900, U’ve got a faster intel CPU, a motherboard with a front Type C port, a way better graphics card, a faster SSD, and a cheaper Gold rated PSU with 750 watts as opposed to 650 watts. For ur remaining 3 parts: On Amazon, grab a dual fan cpu cooler under $30. This one is under $23. Again, id sell ur 16gb kit for $50 and then get a used $150 32gb ram kit off eBay/FB marketplace. If u want new though, grab these Kingspec kit for $190. For a $1200 DDR4 build, u should have 32gb. Lastly, grab a microATX PC case under $60. Okinos has a lot of good ones. Even if u max out the $30 dual fan budget, grab a new $190 ram kit, a $60 case, and couple it with my Newegg PC base picks ur total is only at $1180. If u grab this sub $130 12600kf CPU from AliExpress instead of Newegg ull save $40. Swap out the 9060xt for this $50 discounted 9070 GRE and ur build total will be at $1200 on the dot. The 9070 GRE is about 30% faster than the 9060xt. Or instead upgrading ur GPU, u could use the $40 dollars in savings to upgrade ur SSD to 2TB drive. Swap the Kingspec out with the MSI M461 in the Newegg PC Builder. The combo will take it from $290 down to $240. Ur build total will then be $1230. If u wanna hit the $1200 mark, swap out a $60 Okinos with this $30 Zalman one. Just keep in mind the RGB is this case is fixed and cannot be changed. U could combine both deals ($130 AliExpress i5, $500 9070 GRE w/ Newegg discount, $240 2TB MSI M461) to create a build that totals $1290 if u use an Okinos case or $1260 if use the Zalman one. TIP: If u sell ur existing ram kit for $50 and then pick up a used one for $150, instead of just buying new kit at $190 u’ll save $90 bucks regardless of whatever build u chose. This would make the combined build total $1200 instead of $1290. Good luck!

Ur build is worse than Five head’s. Why pick the 7600x when the 9600x is less than 10 bucks more? Ur mATX motherboard has no WiFi, and yet u picked a ATX pc case. And u want OP to pay 80 dollars for an 850w PSU when a 650w would be more than sufficient for a 9060xt. Regardless. My build is better than both of ur suggestions! Start with this build using Neweggs PC Builder. Notice the combo savings? A 12600k is about 10% faster than a 5700. A 7600x would be about 20% faster but my build features a 9070 which overcome any CPU performance gap. The motherboard I picked has a front USB type C port as well as WiFi included. My SSD choice is also faster. I opted for a 750w PSU because that will be more than sufficient for a 9070 and 12600kf combo. P.S. U can grab a 12600kf model for under $130 on AliExpress to save urself about $40. The last 3 remaining PC parts are all on Amazon. For the CPU cooler, virtually any dual fan one under $30 should be fine. My favorite is this all black ID-Cooling one. Alternatively the NX600 is a nice all white cooler. Lastly, if OP likes ARGB he could get the KingCool Iron Wind which comes in black & white. Five-head’s Lian Li V100 Mini pick is a good PC case option. Okinos also has a lot of great mATX cases under $60 Lastly, Five-head’s GeIL 32gb ram kit pick is also a good option though I’d spend $10 more to get this Kingbank kit instead since I think the white look is cleaner. Even still, the best deal would to be go used as 32gb ram kits on eBay/facebook marketplace are under $150. My build has better performance than both urs & Five-heads while only costing between $1250 to $1350 depending on what selections u make.
