Use these parts. People sleep on the Newegg PC Builder combos. U may have to update the Mboard’s BIOS so it can support the 14600kf since it’s a newer chip. It’s like a 5 minute process and there’s 100s of YouTube videos on how to do it. Towards the end of this comment I’ll leave an alternative CPU choice that’ll save u some cash and/or the hassle of updating ur BIOS. Anyway, U still need a GPU, ram kit, a PC case, and a CPU cooler. For the GPU, grab this $580 9070 Reaper. I recommend buying a used 32GB CL16/18 3000-3600MHZ ram kit for $150 or less on eBay/FB Marketplace. But if u only want new, then for about $40 more, grab this $190 KingBank 32GB CL16 kit. For the PC case, I’d grab virtually any Okinos mATX case. They’re all about $60 or less. Read my comment here for CPU cooler recommendations. The 14600kf is power hungry so ur gonna need at least a dual fan cooler. Feel free to upgrade to a 240+ mm AIO if you wish. Just make sure u grab a case that supports AIOs if u do. The Okinos Mirage 4 does, for example. Here’s the white version. $544 (Newegg parts) + $580 (9070 Reaper) $190 (32GB kit) + $60 (mATX PC case) + $30 (max CPU cooler price) = $1404 Alternatively, u can swap the 14600kf down to a 12600k in the Newegg PC Builder for $170, saving u about $80. The 12600k grants about 85% of the performance of a 14600kf. And since ur prioritizing 1440p the performance gap will be less present since CPU performance discrepancies are most prominent in 1080p. TIP: For a sub $1400 2TB build use the 12600k. Replace the previous SSD, PSU, & CPU cooler part picks with this $300 MSI Bundle that has features a 2TB SSD, a modular 750W PSU, as well as a 240mm AIO. All other parts ought to remain the same. Though because the MSI Bundle features an AIO, an AIO supported mATX case like the aforementioned Mirage 4 is necessary. Ironically enough this 2TB build totals to $1385 (with the black Mirage 4) which is even cheaper than my first recommended build.

Use this build as a baseline. I don’t know why no one uses Neweggs PC Builder combo deals for their builds. Since u got ram already, u just need a mATX PC case and a CPU cooler. Okinos has a variety of great sub $60 mATX PC cases on Amazon. Find a sub $30 CPU cooler, preferably a dual fan model. For example, the KingCool Iron Wind ARGB comes in both black and white at $20. If u don't care for RGB, get the $30 black FROZN A620 Pro SE, or the white $21 NX600. $885 (5 Newegg parts) + $60 (mATX PC case) + $30 (max CPU cooler price) = $975. U could swap out the Asrock PRO 750G for a modular PSU like this black or white SAMA model and u'll still be under $1000. If u want 2TB, swap out the SSD, CPU cooler & PSU with this MSI Bundle. Just make sure u get a case that supports 240mm AIOs. I recommend the $58 Aqua Mirage 4. There's a white model for $5 more. Using the black Mirage 4 model, the MSI Bundle, and the now only 3 Newegg parts gives u a $1048 total. TIP: Consider swapping out the 9060XT with a used sub $350 3080 from Ebay/FB marketplace. U'll save about $80 and the card is faster than the 9060XT despite being 2 generations older & only having 10/12 GB of VRAM.

Get this build instead using Newegg’s PC Builder. Notice the combo savings. The i5 12600k is more powerful than the 5700x in both gaming and especially multitasking, plus the 12600k could be used with a DDR5 motherboard if u decide to upgrade later. For now, the motherboard I chose works with DDR4 and features a front USB Type C port. Swap out the 9070 with ur $600 5070 and u should still be at $855. Though I’ll say the 9070 is better value with 16gb and about 10% higher fps on average. Get this $300 MSI bundle. Insane value. U get 2TB of Gen 4 storage, a 750W modular PSU, and a 240 AIO. U already have ram so the only other thing u need is a mATX case that will fit the 240 AIO. I recommend the $55 Okinos Mirage 4. There’s a white version as well for $63 $997 + $300 + $55 (Black Okinos case) = $1210 for the total build. For $90 more u can get a 9070XT. Not bad for a $1300 build but the 12600k will somewhat bottleneck 9070XT. Instead u could upgrade ur CPU to a 14600k using this Newegg build. Adding in the $55 Okinos case and this $23 dual fan cpu cooler from CPU cooler would make the build’s total $1306. U might have to BIOS update the motherboard since the 14600k is a newer chip. Personally if I was to spend $1300, I’d go with this option over upgrading to a 9070XT because as I said before, a 12600k would somewhat bottleneck a graphics card as powerful as the 9070XT. P.S. if u live near a Microcenter get ur GPU from there for even more savings. They have 9070s for $580 and 9070XTs for $630.
