Yea its a great inexpensive fish finder for a kayak. You can run it on a traditional 12v battery but i use this Nocqua battery pack. Its very small but very powerful. I usually fish for like 6 hours and it barely uses 20% of the battery. Disregard the 2 reviews and the fact they are negative. I and a ton of kayak anglers use this battery and it works great. Never had a problem with it. https://a.co/d/06yMzxWo I mount the transducer on the Scotty 141 transducer arm and its mounted to a track on my right side. The battery and extra cables I just put in a little dry bag strapped to the front of my kayak. That's the bright green bag on the front you can see in the video. https://a.co/d/08VGz1DN If you need to add tracks to your kayak i use these and they work great. https://a.co/d/00czkyYA

Its a Garmin Striker 4 https://a.co/d/0iMSgVf7 I use this little mount to put it on that track up front. Its slightly jank though. The hole pattern didn't line up great so its zip tied to the base of the Striker. And I kinda have to force it into the track cause its a tight fit. But it works. You could probably find a better solution. There's other things like this that may fit better. I've been meaning to do it. The transducer for the Striker is mounted on the right side track with the Scotty 141 transducer arm. https://a.co/d/0iiAEE7Y And its powered with a Nocqua 12v battery pack. Disregard the one crappy review. A lot of people use this and it works great. Never failed me. Its super compact which is great for kayaks like ours. I just throw the battery and extra cable in a small dry bag and strap it to the front of the kayak with the front bungees. The battery life is great too. I usually fish for like 6 hours and it only uses like 10-20% of the battery life. Highly recommend. https://a.co/d/0iBrrttw Shoot me a message if you need any help at all setting it up.
