These all break up biofilm of the microbes we want to kill. Then there is hibiclens, which kills most things. You could use an antifungal if you have a fungal infection, but hibiclens or the clindamycin you have will kill just about anything. Despite the harsh sounding name, hypochlorous acid is very gentle. I fell down a rabbit hole of silver products but that's all questionable and not FDA approved. Use one of the toners I suggested 20 minutes before using that to help increase the effectiveness. If that doesn't improve the inflamed scalp in a week or two, start adding other products to your routine.
