The helix will most likely be $2000. It’s not gonna be a console/pc hybrid. It’s gonna be a pc with the Xbox full screen experience version of windows automatically installed. And it’ll run the PC version of all the current gen Xbox games and emulate the past gen games. There’s already console sized mini PCs available to buy right now that play at about PS5 level and they go for about $1500. Like the minisforum g1 pro: https://a.co/d/06rzuhIO So if it’s a next gen powered PC with a controller packed in, it basically has to be above that price. Maybe Microsoft can find ways to squeeze the price down a little more than those brands, but there’s only so much they can do in today’s world. They can’t S their way down in price since PC’s need to be notably more powerful than consoles in terms of specs to run at console levels. The PS6 will probably be about as powerful as the helix, but will probably be several hundred dollars cheaper since that’s how it works with closed systems. To put it in perspective, a PS4 level mini PC runs at about $600. https://a.co/d/0cThoYAj Again, without a controller though. So the levels are there already. The steam machine can probably push stuff around since they can probably aim at somewhere between a PS4 and ps5, but the helix seemingly has to be above a PS5/Series X.
