My kiddo struggled with constipation until we bought a little potty! The angle helps tremendously - just like how adults use the Squatty Potty. I agree with using both. I tried a LOT of options - we ended up loving the Baby Bjorn little potty and the same brand insert. We did away with the little one when kiddo had a growth spurt and we could tell it was too small and awkward for him. The Baby Bjorn was so easy to clean, and that was my biggest fear, too. Antibacterial wipes are the way to go. Also, buy them a step stool with handles for the potty. Helps them feel secure and helps with the poop situation I mentioned earlier!
