Useful writeup, thanks. When you tightened the deck bolts, did you add loctite? I've read elsewhere that adding shaft bearing seals helps keep that area clean and lowers the chances of overheating (beyond what you're doing with respect to direct sun). Apparently a simple process, apologies I don't have a link handy.
