Yes, I did figure it out. Cooling light is stillOn, but the machine is not in the cooling cycle anymore. It used to take 2-3 cycles to dry a load of towels. Now I can dry a load in one full cycle or half a cycle. However, it is very important to note though (especially If you’re a DIY’er) The first time I did the repair I only changed out one of the 3 components. It was the thermostat or hi limit temp sensor. The heat went really high and I was stoked but it was working for all of 15 minutes before it went back to no heat at all. I think the most important thing part of the repair is making sure you change out all three parts at the same time. Also save yourself a ton of trouble and go in through the back circular duct vent. It is wayyyyy easier to get to the back parts. Throw in a headlamp or flashlight and you’ll be able to see the connections you need to get to. If this is your first time opening the machine, you will obviously you’ll need to clean everything out with a vacuum too and that’ll help with the issue too. There was so much lint in mine and near the heating element that I’m honestly surprised that nothing had caught on fire. (I could have made Basketball out of all of the lint I collected from inside!) I did not change out my heating element. That was still working, I think those things are almost indestructible. The karts have internal fuses that can be blown and i did that on my first go around by only doing one. I think it’s maybe $15 worth of parts for a 3 part bundle. Amazon link above ⬆️
