BowFlex is fine, just not a huge fan of the fixed length design. If you want affordable look at the ByZoom Fitness Pure Series, the 55lb model is great (though it starts at 10lbs not 5lbs) and has dynamic sizing so it's smaller at lighter weights. If you're fine with the fixed length design you could look at the FitRx 52.5lb SmartBell dumbbells at Walmart which are under $250 for the pair. Or these Cloudfire ones which look very similar. If you can afford to spend more I'd look at the Trulaps 8552 G4. Gives you 8.5-52lbs in ~3lb increments again with dynamic sizing. MX Select MX55 Evo is another good option if you want something rated for small drops. Just have to buy their separate 1.25lb adder plates if you want 2.5lb increments instead of just 5lb.
