The flaring tool I bought from Amazon, cheap but good reviews: flaring tool link I'm not sure if the flare nuts came with the unit or lineset because I bought a separate longer lineset from pioneer. The flare nuts look the same as what is installed on the linesets that came with the unit. The other connections don't leak, two 1/4" connectors and the other 1/2" except that one I used the gasket seal they provided.
