Are you willing to do some reading or do you only want to pile work on other people to give you answers? Am I supposed to write your turn paper or something? Is God a Moral Monster?: Making Sense of the Old Testament God - Kindle edition by Copan, Paul. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com. What I suggest is you help out, read the book above and then help give answers and I want you to do this, so you contribute. I've actually been in debates for years with atheists and it accomplishes nothing. When you go down that road, you don't accomplish anything important. Do not answer a fool according to his folly,or you yourself will be just like him.-Proverbs 26:4 NIV The group God chose resembled early Satanism. Why are you defending early people who had child sacrifices? The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. [Gen 6:11 KJV] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. [Gen 6:12 KJV] Consider what God says: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [John 3:18 KJV] Why does God consider man condemned already? Do you see what God sees? Mapping the History of Peace: How many years have we seen in human history with no major conflicts? : r/history Look at the wars we can remember? Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Etc., etc., etc. How many Jews were put into the ovens by Nazi Germany? I could list a dozen atheist leaders that committed more genocide than whatever you claim. Why do you let man judge God when man has always been in wars and been violent? Why don't you start with man or the link I just gave you where man can't even count the number of wars going on for the last 3,500 years. If man is just that evil to have all those wars, why do you judge God instead of man? The other thing is that you have to understand the problem of evil. For God to get rid of all the evil, where do you start? Where do you end? Everyone has done something wrong. Who should God swat first? Everyone wouldn't exist if God started but God has a plan for evil and you have to decide whether you want to be included or not included in His kingdom. God is going to destroy the evil one day but if God started now, no one would get a second chance, and this is your chance to come by God's will and God's way. The problem with this post is the rules want Bible related posts only and not content that would mock Christian's faith which is what a debate about the morality of God would do. You can discuss whatever the moderators allow, and you should, but this post feels like it should be in r/ debate a Christian. You have had this account for a while, but you only have one karma.
