The French twist + claw clip option recommended by the other comment is a pretty suitable option for your length for something that's quick and easy to dress up or down. It won't keep those shorter layers at the front corralled all day, but you can generally expect them to loosen gracefully rather than sloppily. I personally prefer a more square claw clip like these ones; I find that they hold my thick + slippery fine hair more securely than other claw clip shapes but don't drown my hair like the longer clips. If you need something very neat (no wispy chunks or flyaways), a high, slicked up ponytail is my go-to. I use a hard hold gel and a smoothing brush on damp hair to get the very smooth and shiny base, and deal with any shorter layers that might not reach the ponytail. A layered haircut is much more effective at creating the appearance of fullness in a high ponytail than a low ponytail.
