I've been using breeze pellets with a stainless steel box (link provided; this has worked pretty well for me but I've seen people reporting success with a hotel pan setup that may be less expensive). stainless works better because it's less porous than plastic and doesn't retain smells as much. Plastic tends to accumulate cat funk over time and will still stank even if you scrub it to within an inch of its life. that said, you still need to scoop daily, even with the pellets.
