This is why I enjoy Reddit! People always have such great ideas to offer up! I think using yarn that’s similar in color to the grass by making a loop in the canvas and loosely but securely tying it or a hook of some sort will solve that problem! Then just add the grass around that that’s taller in length to keep it hidden. It’ll make it easier to loop invisible thread through to more easily switch out characters without removing the canvas. 😊
