Do you have a spare sd card? Many of the cheaper devices come with questionable sd cards so it's recommended you replace the card. Unfortunately, sd card prices are out of control right now and the card alone might cost as much as a cheap device. Since you said you were playing games on your Pixel 6A, the cheapest device I would recommend is the Moto G 2025 from Walmart for $30. It has a Dimensity 6300 which is good enough for PSP and under. It can play some light 6th gen systems too. If you can stretch your budget to $40, Total Wireless offers a free Moto G Stylus 2025 as long as you buy a month of their $40 plan. This is a substantially better phone than the $30 Moto G 2025 from Walmart. The Stylus 2025 has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 8GB of RAM, OLED 120hz screen and 128GB of storage. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straight-Talk-Motorola-Moto-g-2025-5G-64GB-Blue-Prepaid-Smartphone-Locked-to-Straight-Talk/14552506783 https://www.totalwireless.com/buy/phones/moto-g-stylus-5g-2025-prepaid Alternatively, you can wait for tomorrow's Aliexpress sale. I track prices via my spreadsheet and on r/crownpuffdeals. There might be something under $30 but chances are it'll come with a questionable sd card. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x_PmVHiQNHyw5t05peEDG1DcCKDCvH_UPd3p7yCw4xg

I was about to recommend the Moto G Stylus 2025 but looks like it's out of stock right now. At $40 for one or $100 for 4, it's a bargain if it ever comes back in stock. The Walmart Moto G 2025 is still in stock at $30 but this is an inferior phone to the Stylus 2025. https://www.totalwireless.com/buy/phones/moto-g-stylus-5g-2025-prepaid https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straight-Talk-Motorola-Moto-g-2025-5G-64GB-Blue-Prepaid-Smartphone-Locked-to-Straight-Talk/14552506783

I am in the USA for some time and was looking to buy my sibling a device on which he can play these games. My budget is around 50-70 USD. If you're in the US, the cheapest options for PSP are a telescopic controller plus a cheap prepaid phone. There are two pretty sweet options right now. The Walmart option is the easier option to get but the Total Wireless phone is a significantly better phone. Either phone will be more than enough for PSP. Add in a cheap controller such as the Gamesir X5 Lite for around $20 via Aliexpress and you have a formidable PSP machine. Depending on how far you are from the border, Walmart has a Moto G 2025 for under $30. It's a fair bit weaker than the Moto G Stylus 2025 but still should be fine for PSP and under. It can even do some lighter Gamecube, PS2 and 3DS with some tinkering. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straight-Talk-Motorola-Moto-g-2025-5G-64GB-Blue-Prepaid-Smartphone-Locked-to-Straight-Talk/14552506783

There are some pretty cheap phone deals if you're interested in turning a phone into gaming device. Here are a few options that are available now. Most of them are US only deals. If you're not from the US, you might be able to use a shipping forwarder if you're buying one via a retailer such as Walmart or Best Buy. I don't think the Total Wireless Stylus 2025 deal would work via a shipping forwarder. I frequently see it for around $20-25 or less during sales via Aliexpress.

I agree that Best Buy open box is definitely great if they're in stock at your local Best Buy. I remember last year the Legion Go S was $360ish open box via Best Buy for the lower end model and the Z1E Legion Go S was around $550ish. Stack the 20% paypal cashback promo and those deals were even sweeter. Also, if you don't mind a carrier locked Moto G 2025, those are only $30 from Walmart right now. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straight-Talk-Motorola-Moto-g-2025-5G-64GB-Blue-Prepaid-Smartphone-Locked-to-Straight-Talk/14552506783

I don't have a specific brand in mind, I just want the best overall value for this price point. If you're about more conventional options, there's the Mangmi Air X which is around $99 plus shipping direct from Mangmi. You could stack discounts via Aliexpress and get it with free shipping for a bit less money. If you're interested in Aliexpress discounts, I maintain a spreadsheet that tracks the prices of these devices. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x_PmVHiQNHyw5t05peEDG1DcCKDCvH_UPd3p7yCw4xg/edit?usp=sharing If you want the best overall value and are open to unconventional options, the best price to performance device for under $100 is a prepaid subsidized phone. If you have access to US prepaid phone deals, you can get the Moto G Stylus 2025 with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 along with an OLED 120hz screen from totalwireless for free if you satisfy 2 conditions. Add a cheap telescopic controller such as the Gamesir X5 Lite which is around $25 or less on Aliexpress and you have a pretty sweet sub $100 device that has a screen and soc that is far more powerful than any conventional sub $100 handheld. https://www.totalwireless.com/buy/phones/moto-g-stylus-5g-2025-prepaid Buy the Moto G Stylus 2025 along with one month of a cheap phone plan for $40. If you buy the phone plan and port a number in, the phone is free. Port a number in, cheapest way is to use google voice and pay $2.99 to unlock the number to port it out. See the section titled "Port your Google Voice number out to another carrier" for more info https://support.google.com/voice/answer/1065667?hl=en# Don't setup autopay and the phone plan will autocancel at the end of the billing period. You get to keep the phone but it's a locked phone. If you don't want to deal with port-in deals, you can just buy this Moto G 2025 from Walmart for roughly $30. It's weaker than the Moto G Stylus 2025 but it's also cheaper and less of a hassle. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straight-Talk-Motorola-Moto-g-2025-5G-64GB-Blue-Prepaid-Smartphone-Locked-to-Straight-Talk/14552506783
