I've received mine as well. Can concur with the shrink wrap plastic trashing the grip. I'll have to put an overgrip on it before I use it. Not sure what someone was thinking with this decision was made. Looks like it will be worth the $25. I'm a new player and my first and only paddle (so far) is a Vatic Pro Flash. Doubtful it will replace the Vatic.
