Just bought this stainless steel fountain. It’s easy to clean and the cats love it.

I looked it up and it looks like there's a single curved spout? I used to use that type but it was too hard to clean so I switched to this kind. The petal style is incredibly easy to clean. But also it could be the pump itself or the water source. Use filtered water instead of tap if it's available. I used tap water years ago with a couple of water fountains and it gunked up so fast.
