The first house my dad bought, it took 2 years to get a land line and then it was a party line. We had to share it with 2 other families. You could tell whom the call was for by the ring. When did it become a thing that poor people absolutely have to have a cell phone? For some reason, people complaining that they are poor, when they have the latest greatest i phone comes across as hollow.
