I mostly screwed, but did use a nail gun a little bit at the end when I borrowed one from my neighbor. I used DAP Weatherproof Patching to cover the holes as I was painting my hardie panels anyways. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Z8Z8D8 Applied, let it dry, sanded and then painted. Also used it in the seams when trim boards came together.
