Although those are foundational, they are very out of date at this point. We have fortunately learned a lot about the mind and brain since then! So I would suggest reading something much more recent. If you want an academic book specifically, you could look at this one: https://www.amazon.com/Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy-Theories-Psychotherapy-®/dp/1433827484 The author is a respected researcher in the field. However you should note that this and other such books and articles are written for psychologists in the field and/or graduate students in training, not the general public. They may not be very accessible without a background in psychology. For information aimed at the general public, you could look at more patient-facing resources about CBT online. If you are currently in CBT, your therapist can recommend and perhaps even loan you materials to read.
