You might need to use a filler like Tarrago Leather Filler if there are actual gouges. Gently sand the area you will apply it in then apply the filler in thin layers with a glue spreader. Gentle sand with a high grit sand paper. I usually use 1000 grit for the finish sanding. These look like they are colored with an acrylic leather paint not dye. Angelus is my go to for leather paint. You’ll most likely have to mix lighter and darker reds to get close to the existing color. You’ll also need to paint both pairs so the color matches unless you can mix and match colors better than I can. Then seal the paint with a sealant from Angelus. Buying direct from Angelus is far cheaper than buying the same products from Amazon when buying more than a few. Angelus does have a leather filler but I haven’t used it yet.
