Usually cheaper bricks don’t have the chips (usually missing the USB-C PD chip) inside that allow the MacBook to talk to it and charge properly. I would recommend one from Ugreen, Anker, baseus, or belkin. They’re more expensive than the cheapest ones but way cheaper than Apple’s ones and work just as well. You could get a 45watt one (max charge speed for M1 air) for around $15-$25. Here’s some links for what I would get:UGREEN 45W: https://a.co/d/0gaKKXQM $16.98 Anker 45W (if you need a cable too): https://a.co/d/013KfCQZ $25.99 Baseus 45W 2 pack with 2 cables: https://a.co/d/0j3R7d2D $24.99 You can easily find plenty more online if you want a different one. I recommend sticking to at least 30 watts though so it can charge at a decent speed.
