We tried the Otto cast and sent it back. It has to plug in to your infotainment system to run its own version of CarPlay. So your phone will need to connect to the “Otto cast” CarPlay and not Kia’s CarPlay. The Otto cast CarPlay was extremely laggy, and swapping between the Otto cast CarPlay and the Kia infotainment system for other controls was problematic. For people that do not have CarPlay or do not have wireless CarPlay it may be fine, but not in a carnival. We have the cameras plugged in to the usb ports in the 3rd row, so no need to charge, but the charge lasts awhile if you decide not to plug it in.
