This collar and an Airtag helped me so much when my nebelung was an outdoor cat (long story, wasn't my choice but he's indoor now.) It's not perfect, and there may be more sophisticated gps tags, but if you have an iphone, or could get a tile or something, it provided so much relief when it worked, to know where he was. My cat's microchip company Avid does the tags, and when you think about it you could make your own even and a website it's attached to with info.
