This is gonna sound kinda insane but: Getorli Mini PC, AMD Ryzen 7 H 255(Up to 4.9GHz), 32GB DDR5 & 1TB PCIe 4.0 Thermaltake Smart 500W MINISFORUM DEG1 Docking Station,PCIEx16(PCIE4.0x4) GIGABYTE Gaming Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 PCI Express ($60 off with promo) Cons: You lose a little performance with the oculink. Pros: 32gb of ram vs 16gb. That’s kinda a big deal in this environment. you can take that mini PC, get a portable 1080p little monitor for like 50 bucks, and go wherever you want and still game on the 780m graphics (surprisingly good) you’re saving a shit ton of space This mini PC was on sale for $517 for prime day, which made it a steal.

I found a thread about this yesterday. There is currently a good deal for amazon prime days on a minipc with an oculink port. You could use this for basic gaming as is, or you could use an eGPU paired with something like a 9060XT and it would be much better than a steam machine while beating the price. Hey op. Not sure if you are still looking for this, but there is currently a great deal for prime days on a minipc with an oculink port. You could use this for basic gaming, and at some point in the future if you want to make it more capable for running AAA games, you could use an eGPU paired with something like a 9060XT and it would be much better than a steam machine.
