Actually yes, here on Reddit. He's not going to get good advice here. Again, what he did was called Unit Testing, and on a developer's machine no less. And then he released it! He completely skipped Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing. It's an entire lifecycle. We can only hope that this has inspired him to study software Quality Assurance, at least if he's serious about being a developer. Of course if he's a student, he'll probably have a class or two dedicated to QA. People have entire careers built around software QA and Release Management.
