It reminds me of a book I has as a kid called FANGS! (Amazon page linked) that I got from the Scholastic book fair. It had pictures and info on different species of fanged animals and iirc had tabs on the side separating the different types of animals (snakes, other reptiles, mammals, stuff like that). Could your book have been made by the same people?
