What does 'my budget is a little tight' mean to you? We all have very different budgets and the different between $50 and $100 and $200 can be big when it comes to materials. My teens love making bead crafts. A bunch of beads, some stretchy string, and they'll make bracelets until their arms fall off (due to the weight of so many bracelets). You can also put out instructions for the classic keychain bead lizard. Over winter break I put out these 3D sticker scenes with tweezers, they come in big packs and I cut them out and paperclipped the art & the stickers together. Origami Stars can be fun, but some teens take to it really quick and othes find it very challenging. You can buy pre-cut paper in enormous quantities online for cheap, or you can slice up paper if you are really pinching pennies. I like to have little glass jars for them to put their stars in, if that's within your budget. Making magnetic bookmarks with heavyweight paper - you can use any paper, really, but heavier paper tends to hold up better. All you need are stick magnet squares. I have a kit in the teen space for Diamond Painting keychains that they like to do - this one I would recommend also grabbing extra tools as well as the containers and organizing the diamond bits before putting it.
