I just bought chimamanda adichie’s anthology of short stories. I haven’t read it yet, but I’m looking for something contemporary as well. https://a.co/d/i4CiEn2 It was published in 2009 so it doesn’t fit your criteria but there may be some new authors in there. In the book “a backpack full of sunsets” there’s a few short stories i might use. I can’t remember their names - one was the lesbian club of lagos
