I like Shakespeare Set Free and have used it for R&J, Macbeth, and JC. However, two years ago I started teaching The Tempest and I bought The Cambridge School edition for myself, and I gotta tell ya, you really need this one, too. I made a lot of their plot notes into slides. The simple explanations, plus suggestions for how to go at certain lines as a director or actor, are excellent. I've also showed the video from the RSC about how to do the Ferdinand/Miranda scene, which shows that how you play a scene is really important.
