Antigone Project (Dreaming the Americas)

I don't have any good ideas for songs, but if you wanted to pair it with a modern dramatic take, there is Antigone Project - 5 playwrights wrote short one acts that are performed together. A few of them are super weird, but Tanya Barfield's "Medallion" and Lynn Nottage's "A Stone's Throw" are both really good. [I don't know where you are, but "Medallion" is about race, so that might be an issue.] The text for "Medallion" is included in this lesson plan (it opens to a PDF).
