Try flipping the Acc/B+. Could be mislabeled on the cable. If that doesn't work then return it as it's just defective. I have a similar setup on my 1000SX (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPL6SPM9?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1). Works flawlessly.
