Im glad you were able to make it happen. I regularly embroider Converse and intentionally avoid the back seam due to the number of layers to fight with. I'm linking the thimble I use. It's sticky; just a little leather pad, essentially. It doesn't affect my dexterity but helps my grip. Hoping I can help someone out.thimble
