Idk if this is still helpful to op, but hopefully this helps someone out. These aren't crazy high quality, but I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks (in healed 7g lobes), and they're doing fine for me. My only complaint is that they are a little long (but most tunnels are in my ears). I'm not promoting the taper, it just happens to come with it; personally, I just threw that piece away. Ymmv and of course using amazon jewelry is questionable, but it's worked out for me.
