I'm 8 weeks now and have been socializing for a few weeks pretty comfortably. My challenge is that my incisions are really sensitive still, and even wearing longline bras is challenging for longer periods. I've been wearing these snug fitted Bra30 cropped tanks under clothing when I go out, and they work well for me https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKY4HBJ6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1 If yours are also sensitive maybe start looking for a comfortable bra concept in advance?
My surgery was on 5/4, close to yours, and the color and look of my scars are very similar to yours. Have you been massaging them? My surgeon suggested I do that with a mild lotion (I use cerave) to lessen their sensitivity and improve flexility and healing outcome. I also have hated bra pressure on them, which made wearing compression bras miserable. With my surgeon's approval I switched to wearing Bra30 tight fitting mostly cotton tanks, and I have been much more comfortable wearing them. (they do ride up my belly, but that's a small price to pay) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKY4HBJ6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1
I had sugery on 5/4. My bruising was pretty intense for almost 2 weeks. I still have some light bruising, that shows up as the redness on the lower areas of my breasts receeds. I am also amazed by the differences in post surgical instructions. I have had trouble wearing a traditional compression bra for long periods, so I've looked for options that provide some overall pressure, but don't press down on my incisions. My surgeon was supportive, when she saw how intense my skin reacted. For a while I wore a very thin sun shirt under less tight compression bras, and then I read about these pretty supportive crop tanks, which I wear often now. They do ride up my belly some, but it's a small price to pay lol. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKY4HBJ6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1 Hope your healing goes well!
